Gemelli is a small hamlet, made up of a main house and few outbuildings, surrounded by spectacular nature, and despite being in the Municipality of Tuoro sul Trasimeno, its best view is on Cortona in Tuscany.
At the moment the various small buildings that compose it are used sporadically and with an improvement project, using many of the materials present, the potential is enormous. You can create independent housing units, or a kind of conceptual retreat.

Gemelli is composed as such:

Building A is on 2 storeys currently not connected internally. Sqm in total are 203. As part of this annex a beautiful wisteria covered south-facing pergola.

Surroundings

Days here are spent exploring the profusion of beautiful hilltop towns and villages and the rich cultural history unique to each one, people watching and eating gelato in the local bar and taking a ‘passegiata’ in the evenings. It’s so easy to eat well here, cook with produce from the local markets or visit any of the local restaurants- small and hidden down cobbled alleys. Inside you’re sure to find the most delicious local specialities. Cortona is a lovely very characteristic town with perfect shopping facilities, nice terraces and many good restaurants. Ideal for the evening stroll and dinner. Arezzo is also nearby, which is a wonderful provincetown, with high quality shops, the best restaurants and above all: history. The perfect town for a day trip. Every first weekend of the month a very large antique/flea market is organized in the center. The wine town Montepulciano is near and also Montalcino can be reached in one hour. Castiglione del Lago, at the Trasimeno lake, is a small, but lovely town, overlooking the lake.    The nearest small shops may be found in Pergo (5 minutes car drive), Terontola and Camucia (each 10 minutes car drive).

Nearest airports are Umbria International Airport Sant'Egidio near Perugia (53 km), Ancona International Airport (165 km), Rome Fiumicino (232 km) and Ciampino (214 km) International Airports, Florence International Airport (125 km) as well as Pisa International Airport (190 km); nearest Motorway exit is Castiglione del Lago (10 km; N75/E45) for the connection with the A1 to Rome and Florence. Nearest railway station is Camucia (10 km) with direct connections to Rome, Florence, Arezzo, Perugia and other popular destinations.

In Castiglione del Lago on the lake side are also some bars for young adults to have fun in the evening, but also in Passignano sul Trasimeno is quite a lot to do in the evenings. Here you can also take a boat to the islands.
