Part of a small typical hamlet, fully restored with unique materials, exquisitely furnished and decorated
Il Borgo is a unique property, born from the creativity of the current owner who has restored this ancient property that dates back to the XVI century.
We are in the area of Todi, not far from the Fluvial Park of Tiber river. The origin of the whole hamlet is dating back to the XI century. Now renovated to the very elegant IL Borgo, completed in 2011 with the concept of re-use as much as possible all the original materials, all with chromatic harmony. The floors are original with some touches of old cementine, typical tiles that grant a touch of color to every ambient. With its white-washed chestnut beams, liberty radiators, travertine marbles, materials recovered from the old chapel, Il Borgo is surrounded by a shabby chic allure, very elegant and in full harmony with the original place.
From a structural point of view, all the rooms have not changed much, and all of them are characterized by a sense of space, lights and comfort.
Il Borgo is to be conceived as property in which structure, furniture and decor are part of one vision, therefore is sold in its full status, which means, with all the furniture, and accessories.
Part of the property is also represented by an original chapel, independent from the house, with an adjacent room used as the cantina. In the chapel, there are also Roman pieces and a painting from the XVI century.
