La Pergola

This traditional country house is present on historical records from 1794 right after Napoleon and it has been  restored with the greatest care in 2013 by the current owners, a Belgian architect couple. They created a heaven-on-earth villa which became the perfect holiday destination. The modern design, along with the traditional structure and unique position in the green rolling hills of The Marches, makes it the best place to stay. The beach nearby at a distance of around 40 minutes by car is a great addition and gives you the opportunity to combine a country-side vacation in one of the best regions of Italy with a beach holiday.

The house is a comfortable place for 11 guests, ideal for families with children. The large swimming pool, wireless internet, music system airplay and the different seating areas make it the perfect atmosphere for larger groups, where everyone can have its own privacy. The large garden overlooking the entire area with the sea in the back is absolutely perfect.

Bedrooms

5 spacious en-suite bedrooms with double beds (all twins). Individually controlled air conditioning is available in every bedroom.

4 en-suite modern bathrooms each with shower, toilet and sink where 1 bathroom has a bath tub and separate shower.

Kitchen

The kitchen is part of the downstairs living area which opens towards the outside porch, facing the pool. Part of the kitchen area is also a dining with large table. The main kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances like a big professional stove with oven. This kitchen is the ideal place to cook your Italian lunches and dinners.

Living room

Spacious sitting room with fireplace on the first floor. Here you will find a flat screen satellite TV with surround sound. On the ground floor the kitchen living area has also a reading corner and together with the dining area can be seen as a very comfortable living room which is the ideal place to be.

Other rooms

Behind the kitchen is a separate pantry, in the same style of the kitchen, including sink, second dishwasher and American fridge. Next to the pantry is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

In the garden one will find an infinity swimming pool (14m x 5m x 1m) with heating system, 270° panoramic views and total privacy. Next to the kitchen area is a pergola with sunbeds and dining table. Attached to the house is a covered terrace with seating area. A separate barbecue is available. The entire property is hooked up to stereo speakers with airplay. The garden is fully fenced. There's a separate private gate and private parking next to the house.

As a result of the whole restoration process a complete new electric and hydraulic system have been installed including several energy (saving) services/measures: insulation, roofing tiles laid back, Dykin air conditioning, heater, recirculation pump, heat pump also for pool heating. Alarm system is present. 3 septic tanks present as well.

Direct environment

The entire property is located in the middle of the countryside of the Marches. Some neighbouring properties and a small village (Montesecco) can be seen from the property but are at good privacy distance. The property offers the possibility to make long walks in nature in the immediate vicinity.

The property is near the towns of San Lorenzo (5 car minutes) and Pergola (10 car minutes). In San Lorenzo you can find good basic amenities (bakery, pharmacy, butcher, restaurant etc). Pergola you will find a wider selection. The beach of Senigallia is at 35 car minutes, Marotta 20 car minutes where Fano is at 50 car minutes. First shops are 3 kms away from the property.
