This charming pink villa with its long pool and wonderful views to the sea is just a short hop from the stunning baroque town of Noto and the beaches of the Ionian coast
La Vite lies less than 3km from the delightful baroque splendour of Noto, yet it is immersed in the gentle quiet of this coastal countryside.
The main villa is painted a pretty, sandy pink, and houses two en-suite bedrooms: one at either end of the living space, while the third en-suite bedroom is in a separate building with its own private terrace.
Three sets of double doors line the front of the main house, leading out onto a covered terrace with a dining table and sitting area. The house has all the virtues of its new-build status, with the character of a much older property. Different natural materials, huge pots of vines, a ceramic-tiled tabletop and beautiful seagrass pendant lights give a flavour of the different cultures that have influenced this corner of Italy.
The swimming pool runs the length of the front of the villa and offers magnificent views all the way to the coast over olive groves, palm trees and vineyards, while a path winds from the veranda, past centuries-old carob trees, to a quiet area that is the perfect spot for morning yoga or a relaxing massage.
La Vite is a little slice of paradise – a fabulous base in its own right but also an ideal jump-off point for the surrounding towns and the wild beauty of the beaches within the Vendicari Nature Reserve.
