La Masseria
La Masseria has been restored by a well known Italian architect, who converted this traditional inland Sicilian farmhouse into a comfortable holiday home/art studio full of creative pieces of art. La Masseria is perfectly positioned in the traditional mainland between Ragusa and the sea. You will see many old farms here with old stone walls as fencing. It's a real particular Sicilian countryside feeling here with a lot of charm. Framed by traditional stone walls, the property offers a lovely pool, large and sunny terraces and a typical, internal courtyard. The interior features a refined design and the use of materials such as natural stone, steel and wood, in perfect harmony with the style of the building. On the ground floor are a living/dining room, kitchen, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom. From the living room a staircase leads to the upper floor that includes the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and balcony, two further bedrooms, one of which is in the loft, and a bathroom. An annex on the ground floor houses the fifth bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a space dedicated to creativity and art.
From the villa the baroque towns of the Noto Valley and the beaches of Punta Secca, Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata and Sampieri can be easily reached.
