Le Righe

The sleek design of this spacious villa with its large pool makes it a luxurious base from which to explore this spectacular corner of Sicily

Le Righe is a fabulous modern villa for six. Its hilltop position offers breathtaking views over the rural landscape of coastal Sicily, yet the beautiful baroque town of Noto is just 2km away.

Recently built, the long, low-lying property can accommodate six guests in three en-suite bedrooms. The open-plan kitchen and living space is in the centre of the building and large sliding doors open up to shady terraces on either side.

Inside, white walls and poured concrete floors are complemented by cheerful modern art, monochrome striped sofas and contemporary Sicilian decorative pieces. The design-conscious space includes an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, calm bedrooms and chic en-suite bathrooms.

Outside, it’s a story of comfort and ease - lounge sofas as well as large dining tables offer guests the perfect spaces for eating al fresco, enjoying a cup of coffee or an aperitif or the joy of a quiet siesta. The beautifully landscaped garden is dotted with old trees and Mediterranean planting, while the large pool is surrounded by a verdant lawn and set at a perfect splash-proof distance from the house and the veranda.

It would be very easy to spend an entire holiday by the pool but, equally, it would be a shame not to venture out and explore the beautiful towns and beaches with their exemplary restaurants and cafes, all a short hop from this delightful property.

Rooms description


The three hotel-style bedrooms are luxurious and uncomplicated. Large, comfy double beds and plain white walls provide a calm space, each with sliding doors onto the veranda.


The three en-suite shower rooms are simple yet sophisticated, with high-quality fixtures and fittings. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool.


The central room is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. Spacious and mostly monochrome, the kitchen end has a wall-mounted oven and microwave in a run of tall, sleek, white cupboards. A wooden island houses a gas/ceramic hob and a sink. A dining table stretches from the island with six bar stools although guests are more likely to dine at the picnic table on the back terrace or to eat lunch or dinner at the dining table on the veranda in front of the house with views to the sea.

Living rooms

In the lounge area of the main room there are two long sofas in bold monochrome stripes and a wall-mounted TV as well as Marshall speakers. It’s the perfect cosy spot for unwinding away from the sun and heat.

The path leading to Le Righe has low stone walls topped with slate and mature olive trees either side. Set in an attractive garden with a large lawn and mature trees, there is a large terrace at the front of the property with two verandas – one with a comfy sofa and chairs facing the pool and the other with a large dining table with wicker chairs and beautiful seagrass pendants. The 15m x 5m pool has sunbeds and an outdoor shower while round the other side of the house is another covered terrace with a large picnic table, benches and a BBQ. There is space and beauty in abundance, allowing guests the privilege of unwinding and relaxing with stunning views of the sea in the distance.


There is a private annex close to Le Righe but please note that the properties operate independently of each other and retain absolute privacy. Cleaning, and pool and garden maintenance is included.

Leisure & Activities


The breathtaking beaches of Sicily’s South-Eastern corner, including those in the Vendicari nature reserve, are a delight and guests have plenty to choose from, the closest being just 6km away. For a round of golf, the 18-hole I Monasteri course is less than 40km away.

Your villa and Covid-19

To prevent any possible spread of Covid-19 and to enable you to enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday, all our villas are cleaned to the highest standard possible, and according to the latest Italian health and safety regulations.

Perfect hygiene: to ensure an exceptional level of hygiene in all our villas, we’ve worked with our owners to create a Covid-19 villa management protocol. Based on recommendations from the World Health Organisation, and in compliance with current Italian national law, this protocol goes above and beyond our usual rigorous cleaning standards.

Prior to arrival, your villa will have been fully sanitised, including all surfaces, objects, kitchen items, curtains, sofas, throws, pillows, toys, and in and around the pool. You are welcome to ask for a detailed list of the entire cleaning procedure we do after each departure and before welcoming new guests to the property.

The owner of this house has complied with the following standards:

  • To ensure the necessary information concerning social distancing and the use of masks is available to all guests
  • To guarantee availability of and accessibility to hand hygiene systems with hydro-alcoholic solutions and soaps in all inside areas of, and pertaining to, the villa
  • To guarantee cleaning and disinfection of all areas according to national authority guidelines. Further information is available on request
  • For the swimming pool: to guarantee the efficacy of the water treatments, while respecting legal limits (the parameter for free active chlorine in the pool is between 1.0 – 1.5 mg/l; combined chlorine ≤ 0.40 mg/l; pH 6.5 – 7.5 or equivalent oxygen)
  • For air conditioning systems: to guarantee the air re-circulation function is switched off and, according to the manufacturer’s instructions, with the plant in off-mode, to clean the air filters of the heating/cooling plants that use heat pumps, fan coils and convectors, at the end of each stay
