Granarco
The sympathetic renovation of Granarco has resulted in a house full of traditional Italian charm balanced by modern comfort. A large pool was added in 2019, while the mesmerising views of the surrounding hills remain ancient.
Records show that Granarco dates back as far as 1534. A sympathetic restoration by the Special Umbria team in 2017 has added modern comfort and colour to long-standing character and charm.
Traditional cotto floors and high wooden ceilings are the main features of the light and airy 220sq m, complemented by carefully sourced antique furniture, modern art and inviting books.
The outside space at Granarco is as important as the inside and the two are beautifully brought together in the main covered dining porch, with its large wooden table and far-reaching views over the Umbrian and Tuscan hills.
