Posabile
The clever, careful and colourful restoration of this beautiful property has resulted in a house that bends to the wishes of its guests, making it a total dream for families with small children but just as wonderful for a party of adults.
Sitting proudly in the unspoilt Umbrian hills, not far from Lake Trasimeno, Posabile is a solid stone building dating from the 16th century, that has been meticulously restored by the Special Umbria team.
Beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and brick floors show the rich, rural history of the building, while poured concrete, glass and jewel-coloured fabrics set the stage for the property’s present and future. The interior design blends natural materials such as the reclaimed wooden cupboards and bedheads with modern comforts such as floor cooling and high-spec showers.
The flexibility of the property’s design means that the house caters for all ages. Children will adore the enormous bed that sleeps four and the vast playroom, while adults can cook in peace and relax in comfort, cosying themselves away from any noise or mess. Outside, the 50cm-deep toddler pool is next to the main pool, both heated, and beside shady double daybeds for post-swim snoozes.
Posabile, as its name suggests, is a property full of possibility. It is exclusively managed by Special Umbria.
