Villa Vergelle

Villa Vergelle we found already as an iron structure with brickstones around. This was rather unique as in the traditional Val d'Orcia these kind of structures we normally don't find. As also the owners had in mind to create something that was really different from the mainstream we decided together to leave as much as possible visible from the original structure in the new design. This idea was also the inspiration for the interior design: Concrete floors, open space feeling and modern bathrooms in Morrocan Tadelakt. To add also warmth to the house we designed a kitchen in old wood which we still see as one of the best kitchens we designed. The warm color of the wood and the grey of the resin top gave this house just the perfect central point of this modern villa.
